CSAC is a friendly, fun and active diving club based in the City of Chester. As a branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club, the UK's governing body for SCUBA diving, we offer the complete range of SCUBA qualifications from Ocean Diver to Advanced Diver. Whether you are a complete novice or a qualified diver (BSAC or any other agency) you are welcome at Chester Sub-Aqua Club!

Weekly two hour pool session for members
On-going training via the BSAC Diver Training Programme for all members

Two fully equipped Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIB's)
Two on-site compressors for filling cylinders
Nitrox Club for Enriched Air Nitrox
On-site classroom facilities for training
On-site social room with bar facilities

'Club Night' is every Wednesday commencing at 7pm. We have a pool session from 7pm to 9pm, which allows ample time for both student training and skill development for qualified divers. Lectures are carried out in a private class room, and all members are welcome to meet in the bar following training for socialising, diving discussion and weekly announcements!

Diving is carried out around the UK and abroad. Local diving is mainly around the areas of North Wales, Anglesey and Liverpool Bay. We run regular trips around the UK taking in such diving 'Hot Spots' as St Abbs, Oban, Scapa Flow, Plymouth, Pembroke and The Farne Islands. Abroad we have dived in Ibiza, Tenerife, The Maldives, The Egyptian Red Sea, Sardinia, Normandy, The Scillies.

Recently members have been involved in challenging expeditions to the likes of the Cocos Islands in the South Pacific, and St Kilda Archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean!

All levels of experience can be catered for within the club. Diving is generally informal & relaxed, but well planned.
